St. Paul's Church Pastoral Care Groups

Teams prepare the altar area and church for each worship service. Duties include setting up the wine and wafers, candles, holy water, altar linens, priest's robes, etc.. Volunteers are needed. Contact Nancy Brantly at (863) 299-7026 for more information.

Teams are responsible for weekly and special event flower arrangements as well as decorating the church for our Easter and Christmas services. Volunteers are needed. Please contact Linda Collier at (863) 294-5140 for more information.

This wonderful group sings and leads worship during the Sunday 10:30 am service and special events such as Advent Lessons & Carols, Christmas Eve services, and Easter services. Singers are wanted! Contact our Organist/Choirmaster Bill DeTurk at (863) 678-0923 for more information.

These volunteers bring forward communion and take up contributions as well as assist parishioners with their needs during the service. The Lector publicly proclaims Holy Scripture, particularly the Old Testament as part of our worship Service. The Lector is required to be a good reader and a passionate speaker. For more information on becoming a Lector, please contact Fr. Paul Head at (863) 307-1432.

The acolytes prepare for the service by lighting the candles and then leads all processions in the church. They also assist in ringing the bells, bringing the offerings to the altar and assisting the subdeacon in preparing and clearing the Altar at the Eucharist. The subdeacon reads the New Testament Epistle, assists the deacon in reading the Gospel, and assists in preparing and clearing the Altar for Eucharist.
